The properties, which almost face each other and therefore
make them suitable for large groups, are situated three miles
south of Holt, one of Norfolk's most charming market towns,
in the hamlet of West End.
West End has a small general store a few yards from the properties
and a family-run pub, the John H Stracey, which offers real
ale and homemade food, a few hundred yards in the other direction!
The adjoining village of Briston (a five minute walk) boasts
a butcher, baker (homemade bread daily), mini mart and another
pub. The adorable little village of Hunworth, which adorns
many a chocolate box, is situated one mile from West End on
the way to Holt, and features another famous pub - the Hurley
Bell. Holt itself must not be missed at any time of the year
and especially Christmas where it is known for its stunning
light display. A more eclectic mix of shops you would be pushed
to find in East Anglia.
