Bijou' is word much loved by Estate Agents. In such a context
it usually turns out to mean 'small', but here we are using
it in its correct translation - the French word for 'jewel'.
Built of traditional Norfolk brick and flint, 'Sweet Pea
Cottage' may have a small frontage but its interior belies
that impression. The two-storey cottage has been refurbished
and decorated to an extremely high standard throughout,
to provide exactly the degree of comfort you hope to enjoy
while on holiday. With its tasteful furnishings and oil
fired central heating, it is a very welcoming cottage that
you will immediately feel at home in.
Every home needs a room where you can slump in comfort.
A holiday home is no different, and 'Sweet Pea Cottage'
obliges. The Sitting Room has been tastefully decorated
and comfortably furnished with relaxation in mind - a room
to watch television, read, chat, or just chill out.
The Dining Room / Conservatory is very much a twin purpose
room. In addition to providing a light cheerful area for
enjoying your breakfast (and any other meals you may choose
to prepare indoors) it is also ideal for the other end of
the day. South facing, it becomes the perfect place in which
to unwind after a busy day, recharging your batteries while
watching the sun go down.
However much or little food preparation you choose to undertake
while holidaying, the kitchen is still an important room.
Newly decorated and fitted out in the Colonial style, the
'Sweet Pea Cottage' kitchen provides everything you could
possibly need.
There are two bedrooms sleeping up to four people and with
room for a cot. Comfort, once again, was the watchword when
the bedrooms were redecorated and newly furnished.
The bathroom provides bath, WC and shower - all new and
with complete with luxury fittings.
If like to sit in the sun or need a place where children
may play safely, the long back garden has three distinct
areas - firstly a lawn, which leads to a gravelled area,
and furthest from the cottage, a patio that is ideal for
barbecues. None of these however, are the garden's main
feature. The peace and quiet afforded by the cottage's location
takes that title.
