The Muckleburgh Collection

The Muckleburgh Collection is Norfolk's largest working museum of military vehicles including tanks, guns and a large range of other weapons. It is located at Weybourne Military Camp which can trace its history back to 1588. Tank demonstrations and rides make it an exciting day's visit.

North Norfolk Railway Poppy Line

Norfolk's leading heritage railway. Steam trains daily through summer. Scenic run along the coast to Weybourne and Holt. Original Victorian stations, historic steam engines and vintage carriages. Real old railway atmosphere. Museum at Holt Station.

Bure Valley Railway

Norfolk's longest narrow gauge steam railway. Eighteen mile round trip runs runs between Aylsham and Wroxham through the Bure Valley.

City of Norwich Aviation Museum

Located just north of Norwich Airport this museum run by volunteers is dedicated to aviation in the Norfolk area. With lots of aircraft and exhibits on display and refreshments available.

Sea Life Centre - Great Yarmouth

With lots of exciting sights of the marine world from starfish to sharks. Become involved in the many talks and feeding times throughout the day and touch and feel a variety of creatures in the rockpool. The Humboldt Penguins are the latest addition to the sea life centre bred at sister sites.

Pleasure Beach - Great Yarmouth

The park is free to enter and with many rides and attractions is a great day out for all the family. There are white knuckle rides for the "big kids" and gentle rides for the tots or you can relax in the Pleasure Beach gardens. With so much to do just one visit will not be enough.

Pleasurewood Hills

The region's biggest theme park set in 50-acres of coastal parkland. 10 mins south of Great Yarmouth, 5 mins north of Lowestoft. A great family day out. Come for the rides, stay for the first class shows - cheeky sea lions, hilarious parrots and breathtaking Magic Circus spectacular.

Gooderstone Water Gardens and Trail

Situated in West Norfolk close to Swaffham is Gooderstone Water Gardens is a relaxing 8 acre trail takes you round the restored gardens with ponds, Bridges, Waterways and a tea room selling home made cakes.

Amazona Zoo

Amazona Zoo near Cromer on the North Norfolk coast is dedicated to the conservation of endangered wildlife species and their habitats. With a variety of different animals to observe, picnic areas, play area for the kids a cafe and gift shop you are sure of a warm welcome at Amazona Zoo.

Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery

One of the City's most famous landmarks, Norwich Castle, was built by the Normans as a Royal palace 900 years ago. Now a museum and art gallery, it is home to outstanding collections of fine art, archaeology and natural history.

Norwich Cathedral

Norwich Cathedral was begun in 1097 by the Norman Bishop Herbert de Losinga. It remains as the most complete Romanesque Cathedral in the UK housing Europe's largest and most important collection of decorative roof bosses. The clean Norman lines, second tallest spire in the UK and many treasures from the Middle Ages make the building a celebrated testament to faith and the skills of man renowned and loved the world over.

Bewilderwood

BeWILDerwood is a wild and imaginative adventure park with magical tree houses and characters, bringing a curious difference to the Norfolk Broads. Parents are encouraged to play alongside their children, which makes for a fabulous and brilliantly exciting time for the whole family.

Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary

Sea Life Sanctuary on the west coast, has a hospital for sick seals and fish. Sanctuary for penguins and otters. Includes exhibits, shark tunnel and talks throughout the day.

Bircham Windmill

Climb the five floors of this beautifully restored windmill, smell the fresh baked bread, rolls and cakes available to buy every day (except Saturday). Enjoy our homemade cakes, cream teas and light lunches. Cycle hire also available. Free entry to grounds.

Langham Glass

The craft of glass making has changed little over several hundred years and demonstrations are on display for the visitor to watch or even to participate in alongside a qualified glass maker. There is a cafe for refreshments and a factory shop to purchase the hand made gifts.

Church Farm Rare Breeds

With a friendly and warm welcome guaranteed at Church Farm Rare Breeds Centre come and visit the tame animals and get close to their young. With an adventure playground for all ages, an indoor play area and tea rooms there is something to do come rain or shine.

Merrivale Model Village

Set in an acre of award winning landscaped gardens with streams, lake and waterfalls. Watch the railway go by and wonder at the models. Escape the hustle and bustle in one of Great Yarmouth's best loved attractions. Visit the old penny arcade, gift shop and famous Merrivale tearooms.

Snettisham Park
