When Holidaying in the West of Norfolk you will soon find that the area has numerous historic places to visit and attractive villages and towns to discover.

Visit the port town of Kings Lynn, which is the third largest town in Norfolk, the town is located on the River Great Ouse as it leads out to The Wash. Kings Lynn still has a Guild house dating back to the 15th century which is now a theatre and offers holiday visits the chance to enjoy some wonderful shows.

During you self catering cottage break visit Wisbech that is located south west of Kings Lynn and is an inland port and market town. The river Nene runs through the centre of the town and has two bridges crossing over it. Wisbech also has a castle dating back to William the 1st and was later rebuilt and became a prison housing such people as the key members of the gunpowder plot. Wisbech is steeped in history and has many attractions.
